Description

Every environment is built up and used by people to meet the needs of everyday activities to support their lives. Good approaches to physical form will enable people to enrich their life-chances. This can be developed through effective communication between the environment and the users, so that the design of environment needs to be substantively interactive to public realms. Responsive and people-friendly environments are greatly essential. This course has been prepared: (1) to facilitate students to develop an understanding of design qualities in approaching a more responsive and people-friendly environment and (2) to enable students to develop and employ appropriate theoretical and practical methods of designing people-friendly environment.

General Instructional Objective After completing this course, students are capable to do research on people-friendly environment using computer programs as research tools.
